there are sometimes very simple good things:
at my mother's house there is little water pressure and the shower is like a closet. it is dark - you can't see the steam so much as you can feel it. the water comes down in a mist. i take long showers there; the water heater is bottomless. i press my arms and hands against my body and let the water pool in the troughs - chest water forearm, collarbone water fingers. the water fills up these hollows then pours over like fountains onto my feet.
