cinco de mayo. drank lousy mexican beer (corona. why does no one in reno appreciate a good dos equis or negro modelo?). ate pozole. educated my white compadres about the holiday:
seems that a long time ago a bunch of mexicans decided to get wicked on a bunch of frenchies that were looking to get ill on the fledgling Republica de Mexico. despite the fact that there were twice as many frogs the vatos beat the hell out of them and sent them packing.
viva la raza, motherfuckers!
